The Bihar State Health Society has released notification, inviting online applications for the recruitment of Community Health Officer (CHO) under the National Health Mission.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 4,500 Community Health Officer (CHO) posts in the Bihar State Health Society, under the National Health Mission. Candidates will be able to register for the advertised posts starting April 1, 2024; and till the deadline of April 6, 2024 6PM, on its official website at shs.bihar.gov.in.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the Bihar Community Health Officer (CHO) position, candidates must meet certain criteria. They should possess either a B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree along with a Certified Community Health Course (CCH). Alternatively, candidates with a General Nurse and Midwifery (GNM) qualification must have completed a Certification Course in Community Health. Additionally, those with a B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree should have undertaken a Certificate Course in Community Health to qualify for the CHO role in Bihar.
