UFC 299 was the biggest event of the year so far, and the fights at Kaseya Center in Miami largely delivered.

In the main event, bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley (18-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) registered the first defense of his title reign and avenged his lone career loss when he beat Marlon Vera (21-9-1 MMA, 15-8 UFC) by lopsided unanimous decision.

O’Malley, Dustin Poirier, Benoit Saint Denis, Jack Della Maddalena, Curtis Blaydes, Michel Pereira and Robelis Despaigne earned $50,000 UFC 299 fight-night bonuses.

Debuting fighters went 1-0 on the card.

UFC 299 drew an announced attendance of 19,165 for a live gate of $14,142,904.

Betting favorites went 9-5 on the card.

Betting favorites improved to 4-4 in UFC headliners this year.

Total fight time for the 14-bout card was 2:53:10.

O’Malley’s nine fight-night bonuses for UFC bantamweight bouts are most in divisional history.

Poirier (30-8 MMA, 22-7 UFC) improved to 14-4 (with one no contest) since he moved up to the UFC lightweight division in April 2015.

Poirier’s 22 victories in UFC competition are tied for fourth-most in divisional history behind Jim Miller (26), Andrei Arlovski (23) and Donald Cerrone (23).

Poirier’s 15 stoppage victories in UFC competition are tied for fourth-most in divisional history behind Charles Oliveira (20), Miller (18) and Cerrone (16).

Poirier’s 11 knockout victories in UFC competition are tied for third-most in divisional history behind Derrick Lewis (14) and Matt Brown (13).

Poirier’s nine knockout victories in UFC lightweight competition are tied with Drew Dober for most in divisional history.

Poirier became the seventh fighter in UFC history to receive 13 career fight-night bonuses.

Saint Denis (13-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) suffered the first stoppage loss of his career with a knockout defeat.

Kevin Holland (25-11 MMA, 12-8 UFC) fell to 4-3 since he dropped to the UFC welterweight division in March 2022.

Della Maddalena’s seven-fight UFC winning streak at welterweight is tied with Ian Machado Garry for the longest active streak in the division.

Della Maddalena has earned 14 of his 17 career victories by stoppage. That includes five of his seven UFC wins.

Gilbert Burns (22-7 MMA, 15-7 UFC) fell to 3-4 in his past seven fights dating back to February 2021.

Burns fell to 7-4 since he returned to the welterweight division in August 2019.

Despaigne has earned his past three wins by first-round knockout in a combined 25 seconds.

Despaigne’s 18-second knockout marked the second-fastest finish by a debuting heavyweight in UFC history behind Todd Duffee’s seven-second win at UFC 102.

Josh Parisian’s (15-8 MMA, 2-5 UFC) three-fight losing skid is the longest of his career. He hasn’t earned a victory since June 2022.

Parisian has suffered five of his eight career losses by stoppage.

Moroz fell to 3-3 since she moved up to the UFC women’s flyweight division in March 2019.

Moroz has suffered five of her six career losses by decision.
