The Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan-starrer ‘Fighter’, directed by Siddharth Anand, was released in theaters on January 25, 2024, to mixed reviews. Recently, the actor Chandan K Anand, who played a pilot in ‘Fighter’, shared his experience working with Hrithik and Deepika. He shared an incident where Deepika picked up his shoes and gave them to him in a humble gesture.
In an interview with Zoom, Chandan called Deepika Padukone very humble. He shared that one day he was sitting on a chair on the set of ‘Fighter’, and Deepika walked in. He stood up to greet her, and suddenly he dropped his gladiators. Deepika picked them up for Chandan, and with wonder, he asked her, ‘Why did you pick that?’ She instantly replied with, ‘It’s okay.’

He calls ‘Fighter’ a ‘dream come true’ moment and witnessing the superb actors’ acting, the craft of this film, watching Anil Kapoor’s never-dying attitude, Hrithik Roshan’s charisma, and Deepika Padukone’s charm and beauty was a precious experience for him. The film was about the 2019 Pulwama attack and it crossed almost Rs 178.5 crore at the box office.
