FMGE December 2023 Result: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi will release the FMGE individual scorecard at natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in next week. “Individual scorecard of the candidates who appeared in FMGE-December 2023 session can be downloaded from the website https://nbe.edu.in/ on/after 13th February, 2024,” NBEMS in an official notification said. The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination was conducted on January 20, 2024. The schedule for in person distribution of FMGE-December 2023 session Pass Certificates will be notified separately.
Earlier on February 6, NBEMS declared the FMGE Result. “Results of the candidates whose face ID/documents are pending for verification and matters which are subjudice have been kept “WITHHELD,” reads the notice. The score card will be available for download to the candidates through applicant login using User ID and Password.
The FMGE-Screening Test has been introduced through Screening Test Regulations 2002. A candidate shall be declared as having passed in FMGE only if he/ she obtains a minimum of 150 marks out of 300 in the examination. Result is declared as Pass/Fail. As per the regulations, “An Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act.”
FMGE December 2023 Individual Scorecard: How to Check at natboard.edu.in?
- Visit the official website of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi at https://natboard.edu.in/.
- Click on the link that reads, “Result of FMGE (Screening Test), December 2023 session.”
- Your FMGE Individual Scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Download and take a printout of it for future reference.
Qualified candidates are required to attend “in-person” verification of credentials including finger biometric and Face ID. Schedule for distribution of FMGE PASS certificates shall be published on NBEMS website after declaration of result. Details of documents to be brought for “in-person” verification shall be provided in the entry slip for PASS certificate collection.
All such candidates who would be declared qualified in FMGE December 2023 and fail to collect their FMGE Pass Certificates as per assigned schedule of distribution of Pass Certificates shall be able to collect the same within 6 months of declaration of result, failing which their candidature & result for FMGE December 2023 would be deemed cancelled and no further opportunity to collect the Pass Certificate shall be given.
