Farm friends coming to LEGO Fortnite
Another big change coming in today’s update is the introduction of “farm friends” to LEGO Fortnite.
Players can now recruit more villagers to their LEGO Fortnite farms.
Moreover, gamers can now tame animals and bring them to their farm.
Epic Games said: “It’s never lonely at the farm! The Farm Friends update increases the Village recruitment cap to ten per Village.
“Three Village slots are available to Villagers, three slots are available to animals, and four slots are available to Villagers OR animals.”
Downtime has begun!
Sadly, it’s that time once again, downtime has begun.
This means you won’t be able to play Fortnite, LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival for some time.

Emote changes coming in today’s update
Following the 29.30 update, players will be able to ban certain emotes from their matches.
Taking to X, Fortnite’s developers wrote: “We want emotes to be a source of good vibes, but a few (*cough* Take the L *cough*) can sometimes feel a bit overly confrontational.
“Tomorrow’s update will introduce a new Confrontational Emotes setting to toggle visibility on these Emotes.”
Players will now be able to hide the following emotes:
- Laugh It Up
- Take the L
- Whipcrack
- Make It Plantain

What time will servers go down?
Servers are set to go down in a matter of minutes as Epic implements the 29.30 update.
Downtime begins at 9am BST/4am ET.
No confirmation has been given as to when servers will return but these updates usually take several hours.
