Gamers rush to play huge Ubisoft game that’s been a decade in the making – and it’s free

UBISOFT has had a huge year in 2023, and it seems there was one more game under the company’s belt.

Following on from the recent releases of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, another game is coming in the next few months.

While everyone is waiting for the launch of Star Wars Outlaws, this long-awaited release will launch before then.

Skull and Bones has received numerous delays and many thought that the project was cancelled.

However, Ubisoft has always said that the team were still hard at work and it seems we finally have a release date.

Following on from the success of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, Ubisoft wanted to create a game focused on piracy and the open seas.

That’s when Skull and Bones was announced, but the hype following Black Flag has since faded.

At The Game Awards Ubisoft announced that Skull and Bones will launch on February 16, 2024.

While this has been delayed before, the announcement of a beta test so close makes this seem like the final release date.

Gamers can get a first look at Skull and Bones not only before the end of the year, but also completely free.

The Skull and Bones beta test will take place between December 15 and December 18.

This is a closed beta test, so while everyone is welcome to apply, you are not guaranteed a place in the beta test.

You can put your name in the hat to play the upcoming beta by signing up on the Ubisoft website.

If you are chosen you should receive an email with further instructions so make sure you check your inbox and spam.
