IIT JAM 2024 Admit Card: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has released the admit card for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024 on its official website jam.iitm.ac.in.
Eligible candidates who had registered for the exam can now download the admit cards for the upcoming exam, by logging into the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS), using their original login credentials.

Step 1: Visit the official website jam.iitm.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the link for the IIT JAM 2024 admit card, or look for JOAPS log in.
Step 3: Fill in your login details as required and submit.
Step 4: Check and verify the details on the admit card.
Step 5: Proceed to download the admit card.
Step 6: Take a printout of the admit card for future reference.

According to the admit card release notice, the hall tickets will contain the Candidate’s Name, Registration Number, Photograph, Signature and Names and Codes of the Test Papers applied, along with the Name and Address of the Test Centre allotted.
The notice also states that, “Admit Cards will not be sent by post/e-mail. The candidate should carefully examine the Admit Card for all the entries made therein. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate should inform through email to [email protected].”
Further, that “A printout of the downloaded Admit Card must be brought to the Test Centre along with the original and valid Photo ID. The candidate has to give the details of this ID proof while filling the online application. No candidate will be permitted to appear in JAM 2024 examination without a valid Admit Card, and a valid and original Photo ID. The Admit Card should be presented for verification.”
The JAM organising body also instructed that “A copy of the Admit Card of JAM 2024 must be carefully preserved by the Candidate and produced at the time of Admission, if required by the Admitting Institutes.”
JAM 2024 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) comprising seven test papers at the undergraduate level. It will take place in approximately 100 cities across India. Successful candidates in JAM 2024 can apply for admission to about 3000 seats in IITs for the academic year 2024-25.
The examination is scheduled for February 11, 2024, with two shifts – 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The results are expected to be declared on March 22, 2024.
