Key dates for Jamia Milia Islamia RCA admission
The updated schedule extends the deadline for online applications to the free UPSC coaching programme until June 19.Additionally, the exam date has been moved from June 1 to June 29. The written test results will be available tentatively on July 20, with online interviews taking place from July 29 to August 12. Final results are expected on August 14, with admissions completed by August 19. Waitlisted candidates will then be able to register on August 22nd, with admissions being finalised by August 28th. Classes are scheduled to start on August 30.

How many seats are available for Jamia Milia Islamia RCA admission?
This year’s UPSC coaching entrance exam has 100 seats. Hostel accommodation is required for all admitted students. In the event of limited hostel availability, allocation will be strictly based on merit as determined by the entrance test. Furthermore, RCA reserves the right to reduce intake if a sufficient number of qualified candidates are not found.
What is the the fee structure for Jamia Milia Islamia RCA admission?
Students are required to pay a monthly hostel maintenance fee of Rs 1000, payable six months in advance, for a total of Rs 6000. Subsequently, they must pay the maintenance fee two months in advance. Female students’ fees will be deposited at the Girl Hostel/Provost Office. Application forms are available online as per the mentioned dates above, on the official website at jmicoe.in. Candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs. 950.
What is the selection process?
The entrance exam, administered in ten cities including Delhi, Srinagar, and Hyderabad, consists of General Studies and Essay Writing in English/Hindi/Urdu. It assesses candidates’ general awareness, critical thinking, and written communication over a three-hour period. Negative markings are applied to incorrect answers in objective-type questions. The top 900 students from the MCQ test will be interviewed online, with their responses contributing to the final assessment.

Jamia Millia Islamia University emphasised the long-standing success of its Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), which has facilitated over 600 selections in Civil Services and other Central and State Services since its inception. The university proudly celebrated Shruti Sharma’s recent achievement, which earned her All India Rank 1 in the Civil Services Examination 2021. In the current year, 31 students from RCA passed the Civil Services Main Exam 2023, with 71 students appearing for the interview stage.
