New York woman in bloody clothes arrested for attempted murder in Trussville hotel stabbing

Trussville police have charged a Jamaica, N.Y. woman with attempted murder and first degree robbery after a bloodied man was found in a hotel room with multiple stab wounds.

According to police, officers were called to the Quality Inn, 4730 Norrell Drive, on Tuesday at about 8:18 p.m. about a woman in the hotel lobby in bloody clothes.

When officers went to her room, they found a man, whose name has not been released, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Police secured the scene and Trussville Fire and Rescue treated and transported both people involved in the altercation to area hospitals.

Raquel Antionette Hall, 31, was arrested on warrants after evidence was presented to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office.

Hall was taken to the Jefferson County Jail where she is being held without bond.
