KUALA LUMPUR: TCS Group Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, TCS Construction Sdn Bhd (TCSCSB) has secured a RM140.27 million contract from KLK Retail Centre Sdn Bhd (KLKRC) for main building works for a proposed commercial complex known as Bandar Seri Coalfields Retail Park in Bandar Seri Coalfields, Selangor.
KLKRC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd
(KLK).
Construction services provider TCS said the overall contract period shall be nineteen months from the commencement date and the works completed on Oct 24, 2025.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, TCS said the letter of award (LOA) is in line with the company’s business expansion to raise revenue.
“The group thinks the LOA would enhance the current outstanding order book and strengthen earnings visibility for the coming financial years,” it said.
TCS managing director Datuk Tee Chai Seng said the contract enhances its current outstanding order book and strengthens earnings visibility for the coming financial years.
“Looking ahead, the group is positive on the outlook of the construction industry.
“This is on the back of strategic infrastructure, utility projects, and the acceleration of projects under the 12 Malaysia Plan (2021-2025),” he said in a statement.
The LOA is expected to contribute positively to future earnings, earnings per share, net assets per share and gearing. – Bernama
