Tiger Shroff’s action flick ‘Rambo’ shelved? Here’s what we know | Hindi Movie News

Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff‘s much-anticipated project, ‘Rambo,’ seems to have hit a roadblock as the film’s production has been shelved following Tiger Shroff’s recent string of box office disappointments.
Initially announced in 2020 by filmmaker Siddharth Anand, ‘Rambo’ was poised to showcase Shroff’s prowess in high-octane action sequences, aligning perfectly with his established screen persona.
However, after the underwhelming performances of Shroff’s recent releases, including ‘Heropanti 2’ (2022) and ‘Ganapath’ (2023), the makers of ‘Rambo’ have reportedly decided to halt the project. Mid-day reported that producer Siddharth and director Rohit Dhawan had ambitious plans for ‘Rambo’ , but following the lukewarm response to ‘Heropanti 2’ and ‘Ganapath,’ they decided to wait for the audience reaction to ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ before proceeding with ‘Rambo.’ Unfortunately ‘BMCM’ also flopped at the box office resulting in shelving plans for ‘Rambo’, stated the report.
Tiger Shroff, known for his action-packed performances throughout his decade-long career, reportedly charged Rs 30 crore for ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and mid-day stated that it would be best for Tiger to reduce his fees. Amidst the setback, Tiger Shroff continues to remain active in the industry with projects like ‘Singham Again’ and Karan Johar‘s upcoming production.
