Tamil Nadu Board Exam Results 2024: The Tamil Nadu School Education Board is all set to declare the Class 12 Result 2024 on May 6th. Once announced, students who appeared in the TNDGE HSC +2 exam can check and download their scorecards from the official website at tnresults.nic.in.
The Tamil Nadu Board Examination 2024 for Class 12 students was completed on March 22nd and the evaluation concluded on April 13th.A total of 7.5 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 exams.

Step 1. Visit the official website of Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) at www.tnresults.nic.in or www.dge.tn.gov.in.
Step 2. Look for the link that says “TN HSC Result 2024” on the homepage of the website.
Step 3. Click on the link to open the result page.
Step 4. Enter your roll number and date of birth in the designated fields.
Step 5. Click on the “Submit” button to view your Tamil Nadu HSC 2024 result.

Minimum Passing Marks for Tamil Nadu Class 12th Exams

To pass the Tamil Nadu Class 12th exams, students need to obtain a minimum of 35 marks in each theory subject out of a total of 100 marks. For subjects that include practicals, students must score a minimum of 70 marks in theory, 20 marks in practicals, and 10 marks in the internal assessment.

Last year, the Tamil Nadu Class 12th board exams were conducted between March 13 and April 3, 2023, following Covid-19 protocols. The Directorate of Government Examinations announced the TN Class 12th Results 2023 with a pass percentage of 94.03%. Girls outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 96.38% compared to the boys’ 91.45%.
Out of the 8,03,385 students who took the TN 12th exams, 7,55,451 students successfully cleared the exam. The TN HSE Result 2023 saw a significant increase in the number of girls passing the exam, with a 4.93% jump. The pass percentage for girls was 96.38%, while it was 91.45% for boys. One transgender candidate also successfully cleared the exam.
Among the districts, Virudhunagar topped with a 97.85% pass percentage, followed by Tirupur and Coimbatore districts with 97.79% and 97.59% pass rates, respectively.
