NEW YORK, May 9 (Xinhua) — U.S. stocks ended higher on Thursday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 331.37 points, or 0.85 percent, to 39,387.76. The S&P 500 added 26.41 points, or 0.51 percent, to 5,214.08. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 43.51 points, or 0.27 percent, to 16,346.26.
