In response to the severity of the ongoing weather conditions, the state government has announced specific holidays for selected schools.In Aligarh, educational institutions spanning classes 1 to 12, including those affiliated with Aligarh Muslim University, will remain closed on December 29, 2023, and December 30, 2023.

Recognizing the need for adjustments due to weather conditions, District Education Officers have issued directives modifying school timings. Students in classes 1 to 8 in Ghaziabad and Mathura districts will now commence their school day at 10 am, with classes concluding at 3 pm.
