Actor Warwick Davis will reportedly be “taking some time away from social media” following the recent death of his wife, Samantha Davis.

His children addressed fans’ concerns after the Willow star shared a worrying post on social media in which he recently wrote, “I’m done here. Signing off.”

In a post on Warwick’s X account, his children shared, “Thank you everyone for looking out for our Dad, he is taking some time away from social media. He apologises if his last message caused anyone concern. We appreciate all of your love and support, Annabelle and Harrison x.”

This news comes after the recent passing of Samantha, who died March 24 at the age of 53. A cause of death was not provided.

Warwick eulogized his wife in a statement to the BBC. “My wife and soulmate, best friend. Devoted mother, My favorite human. My most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career, has passed. The most open, warm person I have ever known. Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs. She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life. She had a wicked sense of humor and always laughed at my bad jokes.”

The couple met on the set of Willow, Warwick’s 1988 sci-fi classic that was later revived on Disney+. But they later worked together again in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in 2010 when she played a goblin. Samantha also appeared in the children’s series Through the Dragon’s Eye.

She also founded Little People UK, a charity for people with dwarfism and their families. According to Deadline, she and Warwick also co-founded Willow Management, a management company for short actors.

Disney also shared their condolences for the late actress, writing that Samantha was a “beloved member of the UK film and TV community.”

“Our thoughts are with the Davis family during this difficult time,” the company said.

Samantha is survived by her husband and their two children, Annabelle and Harrison.
