There were many highlights to the 2024 Grammy Awards, only some of which were the powerhouse performances. It was equally fun to watch celebrities react to moments throughout the joyful night, as there was a lot of love in the audience. It started right at the beginning, when Miley Cyrus’ first-ever TV performance of “Flowers” had both Taylor Swift and Oprah Winfrey dancing.
Stars from both the stage and screen — Swift, Winfrey, Cyrus, Meryl Streep, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, and more — came together at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena to celebrate the past year in music. And if they weren’t performing onstage themselves, they were dancing, yelling, crying, or doing all of the above from their seats.

Oprah & Taylor Swift Dance To Miley Cyrus
Cyrus’ performances of “Flowers” had the entire room on their feet — especially after she called out the audience for acting like they didn’t know her song. The stars reacted accordingly, with Swift dancing at her table and Winfrey singing every word. When Cyrus proudly proclaimed that she won her first Grammy, Swift also cheered to that.
Swift Rocks Out To Olivia Rodrigo
As Olivia Rodrigo performed her song “Vampire” on stage, Swift was jamming out to the Grammy-nominated hit. Some Swifties were surprised, given the rumor of a feud between the two artists. It seems like there’s no bad blood.
Beyoncé Tears Up Watching Joni Mitchell
The audience was entranced by legendary singer Joni Mitchell’s first-ever Grammys performance, including none other than Queen Bey, who seemed to get emotional toward the end of Mitchell’s song, “Both Sides Now.”
Other stars, from Dua Lipa to Meryl Streep, also seemed to get teary in the moment, as Mitchell performed with an all-star band, which included Brandi Carlile, Allison Russell, and Jacob Collier.
The room gave Mitchell a standing ovation.
Swift Noogies Jack Antonoff
After Grammys host Trevor Noah announced that Jack Antonoff had won Producer of the Year in the non-classical category, Swift teased her collaborator and tablemate by “noogie-ing” him, as one Swiftie put it. Antonoff seemed to take the teasing in good spirits, especially given that he and Swift won Album of the Year for Midnights just a few moments later.
