There’s plenty left in this clash.
GOAL – Collingwood
A super-important reply by the Magpies ….
Harvey Harrison dobs one. What a moment for the youngster.
11 minutes down in the final term.
Surging Bombers
Essendon managed three goals in four minutes (including two to Langford) to jump clear in space. Will it be a game-breaking phase? Let’s see.
Jones’s bloodied nose
Harry Jones is coming off the field after a clash of heads with Darcy Cameron.
He’s come off second best with blood spurting from his nose after a collision with the back of Cameron’s head.
Both sides are yet to activate their sub.
Daicos magic
Josh Daicos produces a stunning finish to extend the Pies’ lead to seven points.
The older son of a gun, Daicos received the handball from Bobby Hill and instead of squaring the ball, as 99 per cent of players would do, he went for home.
3QT stats
Three-quarter time
Harry Jones had the chance to put the Bombers in front on the three-quarter siren but his set shot from 30 metres out on the pocket is astray to the left. It’s a one-point lead for the Pies. A thriller looms.
Can the Pies, the thrill kings under Craig McRae post another narrow victory, or will the Dons find that bit extra and get up for their first Anzac Day victory under Brad Scott?
Pies hit the front
Beau McCreery’s barnstorming run through the centre square off half-back has set up a goal for Lachie Schultz, who made no mistake with his set shot from 45 metres out in the forward pocket.
The Pies are back in the lead by three points with about two minutes left in the third term.

Slender lead for Dons
Mistakes are setting in as fatigue starts to play its part in this game.
The Pies have had their chances, notably Bobby Hill’s decision to dribble from the boundary instead of handballing to Lachie Schultz.
Pat Lipinski, though, has just made the Dons pay for a turnover coming out of defence. There’s very little in this game. Dons just in front, by three points. 9.9 (63) to 8.12 (60).
